X me rupakan sebesar 28 CFU. Hasil uji one way anova nilai sig. 0,004 = < ? (0,05).
Abstract: Clean water is a natural resource whose quality and capacity must meet the requirements of both physical, chemical and microbiology. Clean water e.coli inspection at PT. X is 28 CFU. The results are in accordance with PERMENKES Number 02 of 2023, which is 0 CFU, so there is a need for special treatment regarding clean water e.coli . This study aims to determine the exposure time of UV-C rays of 15, 30 and 45 seconds on the decrease of e.coli in clean water in PT. X. This study uses an experimental type with a pretest posttest design without control. Pretest is clean water before being treated with UV-C light, while posttest is clean water that is exposed to UV-C. The sample was water taken from the canteen with each treatment as many as 6 repetitions with the grab sampling technique. The results of the study showed a decrease in e.coli with a contact time of 15 seconds which was 65%, 30 seconds which was 79% and 45 seconds which was 97%. The results of the one way anova test have a sig. 0,004 = < ? (0,05). In conclusion, there was a difference in contact time for the decrease in e.coli by 15 seconds, 30 seconds and 45 seconds. The suggestion for further research is to use the maximum contact time to reduce e.coli to the specified quality standard.
